Vtg 1966 Mattel Francie Barbie Doll- Hair Happenin’s- Excellent Rooted Lashes!
This fabulous Francis doll is ready for the trip to her new home! She is blonde with brown eyes and pink lips. Her rooted eyelashes are in great condition and it appears almost, if not all, present. Facial coloring is still very good. She has flexible legs that bend well. Her waist still turns easily. She is in acceptable condition with very little discoloration on her body. She does have some small marks/discoloration, most notably on the backside of her legs. Her ankles have cracked/worn at the locations of the ends of the inner leg pieces/supports.
Francie is dressed in an aqua blue lace dress accented with white/off white lace, white lace tights and has both white and blue pumps included. The dress has snap closure, which is present, secure and functioning. The white shoes are hard plastic and the blue shoes are softer shoes (squishy?). There are no markings on any of the clothing/shoes. I’m guessing the dress is handmade or clone. I am not sure of the age of the tights. I am also unsure of the age of the shoes. The blue shoes fit, though possibly a smidge large. The white shoes fit tightly. I cannot find any rips, tears or stains on the clothing/shoes, although the center stripe of lace on the dress is very slightly yellowed I believe.
