Vintage Shure Brothers Head Set WWII vtg aviation

Here is a neat set of vintage Shure brothers headphones. I tested these using a  9 volt battery and they do work. They would originally had a leather wrap over the top. Now just a small piece is all that is left. This set has 2 pins for the output. I believe there was an adapter to plug into a 1/4" plug originally but it is gone.
