VINTAGE SAUSAGE CURL TWIST N TURN TNT  SKIPPER wearing QUICK CHANGE SWEATER, SHIFT DRESS, AND SKIRT OUTFIT with blue/green Skipper FLATS  -
This is a gorgeous, near mint SKIPPER.  As most collectors know not all Sausage Curl Skippers look the same.  The Sausage Curl Skippers made in Japan are the absolute prettiest compared to those made in Taiwan. I believe that this doll has a JAPAN made head on a Taiwan body.  That is just my opinion based on years of collecting. The coloring and shape of her face leave no doubt in my mind that her face/head were made in Japan.   However, who are why someone put this head on a different body is beyond me.  This is how she was when I acquired her.   She is very high color and her makeup is gorgeous.
Her eyelashes are full, very long, and beautiful.
She has no earring holes, no neck splits, no green, and no paling.   Her hair has tight sausage curls, but they aren't quite as thick as some I've seen.  The original rubber bands in her hair broke long ago from age and she has new bands.  Her hair bows are MIA and cannot be found.
Her body has an even pink tone all over. She has no swingy limbs - arms and legs are tight.  Her knees bend and click loud 4 times and hold all  4 positions.  Her legs, feet, and ankles have no bite marks, no gouges, and no  pin pricks.  Her only real flaw is she has two or three nicks on the back of her neck below her hairline -- see last pic. I can't image what caused that as she has no signs of play wear.   She is wearing Quick Change Sweater, Shift dress, and Skirt.   The coloring of the outfit is bright and vibrant. There are no holes, no rips, and no tears on this 3 piece set.
The sweater is minty mint with absolutely no signs of play wear and no issues.  It has all its gold beads on front and there is no loss of gold on the beads.   The shift dress is not as minty as the sweater but is in excellent condition with its original zip. The skirt could use a good pressing to tighten up the pleats.   The blue/green Flats complete the outfit perfectly!   She will display beautifully!!   Stand not included.
