VEGA MADDUX CUFF BRACELET AND MATCHING RING

This is a beautiful one-of-a-kind set by Vega Maddux.  I believe the stones are carnelian, which can range in colors from light to very dark.  There are beautiful enameled flowers that are tones of gold and peach with green vines flowing throughout. There is also crimson red enameling.  I've taken many photos to show the colors.
The cuff bracelet is in beautiful condition for a vintage piece and signed Vega on the back.  It is faint, but there.  Anything you see on the large piece of carnelian in the photos of the cuff are merely reflections.  The ring matches the bracelet, however, I'm unable to find her signature, which is common.  Not all of Vega's pieces were signed, but her style is unmistakable.  There is a slight surface scratch on the larger stone in the ring, however, it is barely discernible.  This was not from wear.  It could be a natural mark or perhaps happened when the jewelry was being made.  It is in an area that is not vulnerable as it is close to enameled flowers.
The bracelet's inside circumference is 6.5", which is 5.5" end to end with a 1" gap.  The width at the widest point is 2".
The ring is size 7.5 and measures 1-5/8" long.
I am unwilling to break up the set.
Vega was an opera star turned comedienne with the Jimmy Durante troupe.  She went from there to national appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show, Dean Martin Show and films with Dom DeLuise, directed by Anne Bancroft. Her objets d'art have been worn by Cher, Dolores Hope (Bob's wife), June Wylie, and the most fashionable of the international stars and jet set.  She was a very colorful person.  I have a couple of copies that offer more information that I will include with the jewelry.  Vega's finer jewelry is getting very hard to find.
