This is a vintage (1920s), white iridized stretch glass bowl. The pattern is U.S. Glass #314 (see p. 136 of John Madeley and Dave Shetlar's
American Iridescent Stretch Glass
(1998).
Condition.
This bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs.
There are some of the usual minor "straw marks" (shearing tool marks) and internal air bubbles commonly associated with the manufacturing of old EAPG, carnival, stretch, and opalescent glass.
The "onion skin" stretch is very strong and the
iridescence is stupendous!

... guaranteed to catch the eye!
... Great find! Great gift!
... an outstanding example of U.S. Glass Company stretch glass and a fine
addition to any collection of old carnival and opalescent EAPG pressed glass, e.g., Fenton, Dugan, Westmoreland, Jefferson, Northwood, Millersburg, Imperial, and others.
