    Description

    This Civil War reproduction Trephine - Conical Crown is new.
    The trephine was used in operations of the skull to reduce fractures and also to relieve intercranial pressure due to hemorrhage. Acts like that of a drill. It has a limiting bayonet which can be see extending at the bottom of the drill. Approximately 5" long with a handle about 4".
