Description

On consignment with us is this nickel (according to the seller) plated collapsible telescope which came in with an assortment of infantry officer’s gear. All the gear was sold and all that remains at this time is this telescope. This is a modern item and not specifically a historical reproduction. Doesn’t look bad though and will work in absence of anything more historical looking.
This item has been used but remains in very good condition. The lenses are in great shape but it is hard to make a power determination (2x, 5x, 10x etc.). It is a relatively low powered scope compared to larger telescopes but certainly enough magnification to see who’s on the skirmish line across from you.

Measures 15 1/4” long when fully extended and 6” when collapsed for storage. Comes with front lens cap but no storage bag or carrying case. Stamped on one of the collapsible elements is “HAMPTON NAUTICAL”  - a contemporary telescope and nautical décor distributor in CA.
