This item in my EBAY store is a NORTHWOOD TOPAZ/VASELINE STRETCH GLASS LARGE STRAIGHT SIDE SERVING BOWL.   This NORTHWOOD topaz/vaseline stretch glass large serving bowl is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom NORTHWOOD piece of glass;   This American NORTHWOOD stretch glass beauty is a large heavy piece of glass that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches and no glass staining;   This NORTHWOOD topaz vaseline large serving bowl is just the way this serving bowl was produced at the NORTHWOOD glass factory many years ago and was surely cherished by the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty according to the condition this large serving bowl remains in today;   Folks we have to remember that early glass was produced to be used in its day, many numerous table ware items were also produced in stretch glass along with the many numerous colors found on these table ware products, consequently the type of table ware and the COLOR and IRIDESCENCE is what makes ones collection valuable;   This NORTHWOOD topaz vaseline stretch glass large serving bowl has no damage to the top edge or the bottom of this serving bowl, my photos show this to you;   I may add that this AMERICAN NORTHWOOD GLASS TOPAZ VASELINE STRETCH GLASS LARGE SERVING BOWL is an
early vintage NORTHWOOD antique stretch glass serving bowl that has been used and displayed over many years that still remains in beautiful heirloom condition;   It did not matter what angle or position I photographed this large stretch glass serving bowl the TOPAZ VASELINE COLOR and STRETCH IRIDESCENCE is shown in my numerous photos taken..............after all its all about the COLOR and IRIDESCENCE front and back when buying stretch glass;   I want to mention that the "stretch" effect on the glass is on the inside of this large bowl and the back of this large vaseline serving bowl;   I also want to mention that this topaz vaseline stretch glass large serving bowl that I have here does have the Early American Pattern Glass characteristics of the EAPG glass making process having straw marks, stress marks and sometimes air bubbles are also seen inside the glass of early American pattern glass of the EAPG production process, these characteristics are also seen inside the glass of this large topaz vaseline stretch glass bowl that I have here, these characteristics were done during the production process and is NOT considered damage, any questions at all please e-mail me;
