This item in my EBAY store is a NORTHWOOD CELESTE BLUE STRETCH GLASS FTD. COVERED COMPOTE.   This celeste blue stretch glass compote is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass;   This celeste blue stretch glass ftd. covered compote is just the way this NORTHWOOD compote left the NORTHWOOD GLASS COMPANY many years ago and is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;   This celeste blue stretch glass ftd. covered compote that I have here does have those EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS characteristics of the glass produced during this era of the glass making process having air bubbles inside the glass along with the straw and stress marks, these characteristics are from the production of this beautiful celeste blue stretch glass ftd. compote and is NOT considered damage;
This NORTHWOOD celeste blue stretch glass ftd. compote is non flint glass;   I may also add that this NORTHWOOD CELESTE BLUE STRETCH GLASS FTD. COVERED COMPOTE is an
early vintage antique stretch glass short ftd. covered compote that has been used and displayed over many years and still is a very beautiful stretch glass covered compote;
