Newark International Baseball Club 1927 stock certificate #5, Yankees farm team

Description

Up for auction is a scarce and attractive stock certificate from the Newark International Baseball Club, Inc. Very early, low number 5 certificate, issued 1927, pen cancelled and signed on the back. The team was purchased by Jacob Ruppert in 1931.
Condition is Very Fine-Extremely Fine. Couple of vertical folds, no holes. Bit of staining on left edge, actually lighter than in the photograph.
