Circa late 1800's to Turn of the Century (1900).
You usually find these soldiers as intaglios in men's jewelry,
not as cameos.
This beard soldier is carved out of black onyx,
attached to another hard stone (or perhaps carved from the same piece?)
It is a large ring in size and ring size.
Front is 7/8" long.
Ring weighs 13.2 grams.
Ring size 13.5-13.75.
In super good condition for its age.
