Please note: this is not NOS, or Original Equipment.
the OEM Honda unit is no longer available,
and obviously did not come with adjustable freeplay on the lever.
In my opinion, this is better, in both looks and function,
but do not buy for a 100 point concourse restoration.
This is intended for "RestoMod" projects.
I do not consider this to be a cheap copy,
although it is VERY good for the price.  It has a solid "heft" to it,
and i would rather have this one, than a rebuilt 1974 honda master cylinder.
I really appreciate the adjustable free play.
Also, rebuild kits are available, so it is not intended to be disposable. :-)
you can return it (unused) if you want to take a closer look at it.

Note:
just like the original HONDA master, this has no brake light switch
,
CB's have an inline hydraulic pressure
switch hooked up to their brake line.

For those of us who have rebuilt a master cylinder that's seized and gunked up after sitting for 10+ years,
i don't have to tell you how much time you'll save yourself, by JUST buying a new master cylinder...
I've had it with spending on a rebuild kit, and then having the master leak anyway, because the
aluminum inside the bore had oxidized so badly that not even a brake hone could make it seal....
frustation, waste of valuable time, and for what, a master that still looks old and crappy?
are you kidding me?     hell no.  NEVER AGAIN.
Now I Buy a beautiful, Brand NEW master, ....no headaches with bleeding or leaks,
cleans up the cockpit/bar area, and works better than the original.
what was i thinking? ( oh yeah, i thought i was gonna save by rebuilding it myself...lol)

this master will work to activate your brakes, but it won't switch on the light, unless you use a banjo bolt brake light switch.
