Edwardian Art Deco 2-Sided Sterling Banded Agate Cufflinks Handsome Vtg Antique
Elegant and good looking, these vintage Edwardian / Art Deco cufflinks feature banded agate ovals set in gilded sterling (vermeil).
The stones are bezel-set and have slightly beveled edges that extend just above the frames, so the band is visible as it goes around the top edge of the links, adding depth and interest.
With the color contrast of the white line across the black stone, the links will stand out strikingly against the fabric of your cuffs.
They measure just under 1/2" wide by about 9/16" and weigh 5.1 grams.
There is a tiny "flea bite," rough edge or chip in the surface of the bevel on one near the white band (that is not very noticeable but which you may be able to see if you look closely at the enlarged photos).  Apart from this, they are in Very Good vintage condition with just surface dirt and scratches due to age and use.  The gold plating (vermeil) is completely intact and has mellowed to a lovely gleaming patina; cleaning and polishing are left to the buyer's discretion.  They are really good looking!
Classic and sophisticated, with their white lines and black stones, these links are handsome, smart and very eye-catching.  Appropriate to any occasion, these versatile cufflinks are ones you will wear all the time.  Although I doubt you will want to part with them, they would make a terrific gift - and will come to you in a gift box, just in case.  This handsome pair of vintage Edwardian sterling and banded agate links will make a fine addition to your collection of quality and distinction!
