Classic and Classy Cufflinks from the Nineteen Thirties by an Important Swedish Maker!
These hallmarked 1934 Swedish Art Deco Sterling Silver and Black Enamel cufflinks, by Stockholm's renowned C G Hallberg, jewelers to the Swedish Court, will go with everything but they will look Absolutely Sensational on the cuff of a white or light colored shirt, especially with a dark jacket.  Their sterling borders frame the enamel and silver bands or stripes, setting them off sharply and the cufflinks will stand out strikingly on your cuffs.
Handsome and well-made, the rectangles measure about 9/16" by 3/8" and weigh 6.9 grams.
They are hallmarked on all 4 backs as shown in the last photo: "C.G.H." in a squared off rectangle for C G Hallberg, the 3 crowns in a trifoil cartouche for Sweden, "S" in a hexagon for Sterling silver, the crowned figure in a rounded cartouche for Stockholm and "H8" in a squared off rectangle for 1934.
They are in Very Good vintage condition with expected minor manufacturing flaws in the enamel, including bubbles and pitting/depressions as well as evidence of normal wear, including surface dirt, scratches and the considerable, even, dark tarnish that can come only with time, giving them a lovely hard-won vintage patina.  The combination of darkly patinated silver and black enamel is handsome and striking but the links would polish up bright and shiny if that's the way you like them; cleaning and polishing are left to the buyer's discretion.  Please pardon the lighter and darker spots in my poor photos; they are due solely to glare, shadows and my lack of photography skills.
You cannot go wrong with these versatile links in basic black.  Classic and elegant, this striking pair of double sided sterling and enamel Art Deco cufflinks from Sweden's sought after jewelers, C. G. Hallberg, would make a terrific gift, although they are so all-purpose, I doubt you will want to part with them, and they will come to you in a gift box, just in case.  A wardrobe staple and a smart looking pair of vintage sterling and enamel cuff links by an important maker to add to your collection of quality and distinction!
