Art Nouveau Green Stretch Glass Ruffled Rose Bowl w Metal Stand -Possibly Rindskopf
We are pleased to offer this lovely Art Nouveau iridescent apple green Stretch Glass Rose Bowl with black metal stand. Stretch glass is named for the strange stretch marks in the glass. It was made by many glass companies in the United States from about 1900 to the 1920s. Most American stretch glass is molded; most European pieces are blown and may have a pontil mark.
The ornate wrought iron holder features three vine branches with leaves that wrap around the body of the bowl. This ruffled rose bowl stands 5" tall without the stand and 6 1/4" tall with. It has a few black dots embedded in the glass; otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Just a lovely piece of vintage Art Nouveau Glass that you are sure to want to add to your collection. And what a treat to find the original footed stand still with it !
